This will be a short post today.  I have had my hand surgery so I have not been able to mini.  My hand is healing well but is still quite tender.  I was lucky enough to be able to watch the surgery on my hand.  Ohh it was so interesting.  Darn!!! I should have taken pictures.

Last Friday my Hubby and I had to take our lovely little Bella to help her cross over the rainbow bridge.  The house is so empty and quiet without her.  We both miss her terribly.  I took a video of her in her little doggie cart earlier in the week.  She wasn't sure if she like it but she tried.  I think had she been younger it might have been easier for her.  We had ten years with Bella which was most of her life.  She was less than a year old when we got her.

Run and play in the fields with your friends, enjoy the sunshine, rest in peace sweet Bella.

  1. Hi Louise,

I am so sorry that you had to say goodbye to Bella. We lost our Georgie last summer and I will miss her and think of her every day. I bet it's the same for you. Whenever there has been a big change in our lives, our beloved pets seem to choose that time to let us go forward on our own. It's as if they were our angels for a time and then that time is finished.

I am so happy to hear that your hand surgery went well! I wish you a speedy recovery and that your hand is better than ever by the time you settle in to your new place. đź’—

    1. Thanks Jodi, you said it so well. We miss Bella terribly. I keep expecting to see her as I round corners and meeting me at the door when I come home.
My hand is doing pretty good, still tender of course but seems better every day. Thank you for your lovely thoughts.

  2. Perder a un compañero como esos siempre produce una gran tristeza y un gran vacío. Pero hay que quedarse con la alegría que os habéis aportado mutuamente.
Espero que tu mano se recupere rápidamente.

  3. Sweet, sweet little Bella. I will so miss her happy little face when I come to visit you. She always brought a smile to my face, the little monkey! She's running and playing all day now though so I am happy she's in such a wonderful place for doggies. Hugs - Marilyn D.
